Cookie Policy
Last updated: 20 October 2026
The Morcha (themorcha.com) is published and operated by AWL Metaverse. You can reach us by email at awlmeta.info@gmail.com or through the contact page.
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. This page explains which ones The Morcha and our partners use. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
Cookies and storage we use
- Sign-in cookie (essential): keeps you logged in if you have an account. It is removed when you sign out or after it expires.
- Theme setting (essential): remembers whether you prefer the light or dark design.
- Your cookie choice (essential): remembers the answer you gave on our cookie banner so we do not keep asking.
Counting how many people read a story does not use cookies: it uses an anonymous code that changes every day.
Advertising and analytics
- Google AdSense shows the advertisements that help pay for The Morcha. Its script is loaded on our pages for every visitor. Until you press Accept, ads are non-personalised: they depend on the page you are reading and your general location, not on your interests or browsing history. Google and its advertising partners may still use cookies and similar identifiers for ad delivery, to limit how often you see an ad, to measure results and to prevent fraud.
- If you accept, ads may be personalised from your next page view on, and we also load Google Analytics, which measures how visitors use the site (pages viewed, time on page, rough location, device type).
- If you decline, Google Analytics is not loaded and ads stay non-personalised.
You can change your mind at any time with the Cookie settings link in the page footer.
How to control cookies
- Use the Cookie settings link in our footer.
- Delete or block cookies in your browser settings (the way to do this differs by browser). Blocking essential cookies may stop sign-in from working.
- Manage personalised advertising at adssettings.google.com, and read how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
- Opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Changes
If we add or remove a cookie-setting service, we will update this page and the date above.
